Today at work.

So I begin my walk to work this morning solo for the first time and wouldn't you know it, I made it to the right place. It was NOT an easy thing to do. Imagine for a moment the streets of NYC. I'll wait...........NOW, make the streets windy,hilly, full of stairs, beautiful people, dogs pooping in the middle of the street, and you just about get the idea. And on today's walk I had two added bonuses. The best bonus today was....wait for it....AN ITALIAN COMMUNIST RALLY in the streets. Its was all over the main street that I take to get to the boat yard. There were cops EVERYWHERE.

-side note, all the cops here wear incredibly crazy uniforms, like feathers in their hat crazy. I digress, so I finally get past all the people shouting, singing, and the marching band to come to BONUS #2!!!!

I must start this next tale with an observation. "Tagging" AKA graffiti has to be some sort of favorite past time in Europe, especially in Genoa. Its literally EVERYWHERE.

The next part of my route take me through Marina Park. This park which was once probably very nice, and full of families has been "tagged" into oblivion. Even the grass has pray paint on it. This is a place you don't want to be at night alone, and as I found out today, you dont want to be alone walking through it during the day either.

As I turn the corner into the park there are two dudes who look like they are on a 4 day heroin binge, and they are feeding what looked like human remains to 2 giant bulldogs. They get all quiet as I walk by and stared at me.....There is a steep stairwell at the end of the park that is about 4 stories tall. I nearly rolled down in it I was moving so fast.

FUN TIME!! This is all on top ofthe fact that its a 45 minute walk each way to begin with.

This was all before I got to the office. Went to the office, then got into my ONSIE, and headed to the ship. Met up with The head of entertainment, and my boss, and we talked about some other things media wise that we have to take care of this week.

That was about it in a nutshell.

Im incredibly tired. I think im gonna hit it early.
